ABOUT ME

I am a Massachusetts native and studied trombone performance (B.Mus.) at Northwestern University, and musicology at Indiana University (M.A.) and at Harvard University (Ph.D.). I have been teaching at the University of British Columbia since 2002.

​​I am a member of Cappella Borealis, a local sackbut ensemble.
